Ali Bailey

Ali is responsible for engaging and inspiring our audiences in our mission to deliver world-class discovery science.

Before joining the Crick in April 2022, Ali was a board-level director of communications and public engagement at a number of NHS teaching hospitals, most recently at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Ali previously worked as a producer at the BBC, making features and returning series about science and medicine for BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service. She studied Biological Sciences and the History and Philosophy of Science at Jesus College, Oxford and recently completed a part-time Master’s degree in social innovation at the Judge Business School in Cambridge.
