Support the biomedical research endeavour across the UK and beyond

The Crick aims to be a national flagship for biomedical research. We intend to support the biomedical research endeavour across the UK, in part by developing future leaders for academia, industry and other walks of life.

We expect our staff to act as good scientific citizens, contributing to a strong international biomedical community, and developing and disseminating best practice in their fields.

We will assist successful graduates of Crick training schemes to continue their careers at other leading institutions, contributing to the growth of a highly skilled UK science workforce at all levels and roles.

We are building external interactions and collaborations with a growing number of UK and international research institutions, catalysing the development of scientific networks, expanding the reach of our mission to develop researchers and bringing together complementary scientific capabilities for reciprocal benefit.
