Cell Biology of the tumour microenvironment

Research opportunity for a postdoctoral clinical fellow in Erik Sahai's lab.

Introduction

Our group aims to understand how the tumour microenvironment contributes to both the spread of cancer and therapy failure. We are particularly interested in cancer-associated fibroblasts, how they re-model the extracellular matrix, signal to cancer cells, and modulate the extent and functionality of the leukocytic infiltrate in tumours.

To pursue these goals, we use range of techniques including intravital imaging, primary patient explants, conventional cell biology, and computational modelling.
