We are a training ground for the next generation of research scientists.

If you come to the Crick as a student, you'll benefit from a stimulating and supportive environment, well-resourced labs and facilities, and a comprehensive training and career development programme.

As part of our commitment to train research scientists we run a PhD programme for students of all nationalities. We're also a partner in the Cancer Research UK City of London Centre which offers multidisciplinary cancer-based PhD studentships as part of its training programme.

For undergraduate students studying at UK universities, we offer a nine-week summer student programme and a 12-month sandwich (placement) year programme.

We can also host master's and undergraduate students who are looking to undertake their thesis project in a research institute.

School students studying in Camden may also be able to experience work in a research institute - either inside or outside the lab - via our work experience scheme.
