Running a highly complex organisation such as the Crick requires a lot of support for its senior scientists and Chief Operating Officer, and this is the function of the Research Management Support Team.
The Science Writing and Analysis manager summarises the research that happens at the Crick to communicate our science to different audiences. They also work closely with the communications, public engagement and philanthropy (fundraising) teams.
The successful student will assist the Science Writing and Analysis manager. Due to the nature of the job, the work varies considerably, but is likely to include tasks such as interviewing Crick staff, writing text for the Crick website, and participating in public engagement and communications activities.
