Fiona Roberts appointed Chief People Officer

Fiona Roberts, Chief People Officer

Fiona joins us from the Open University, where she held the position of Group Human Resources Director for two years.

Having started her career in retail management, Fiona has spent over a decade in senior HR roles in a broad range of sectors including airports, construction, automobiles and academia.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming Fiona to the Crick,” says Sam Barrell, Chief Operating Officer. “She brings a wide breadth of experience from different sectors, which is a real strength, but what comes across most strongly is her belief that it’s the people in an organisation that make the difference. We’re very much looking forward to working with her.”

Fiona says: “I am tremendously excited to be joining the excellent team at the Francis Crick Institute. I am looking forward to listening to people’s views about the Crick and finding out what is important to them and how the Crick can be the most attractive place to work. This will help to ensure that we continue to attract, retain and develop world class scientists and professionals.”
