New insights into a key antibiotic against TB

A new study from the lab has investigated a key antibiotic against tuberculosis, pyrazinamide (PZA), showing that its efficacy may be affected by the localisation of bacteria at the time of treatment.

The findings provide important insights for the design of future antibiotics and combined therapies.
