In tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, 1926-2022

It was an honour to welcome Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to open the Francis Crick Institute and we will treasure fond memories from the visit. We give thanks to her life served in dedication of our country.”

Lord Browne of Madingley, Chairman of the Francis Crick Institute said:

“Everyone at the Francis Crick Institute is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Throughout her long reign, Her Majesty has been a shining example of devoted service and steadfast duty. She embodied the spirit of the nation and today, together with millions around the world, we mourn.

My thoughts and the thoughts of everyone here are with all members of the Royal Family at this saddest of times.”
