Ranmali has extensive experience in intellectual property development and commercialisation.
Prior to working at the Crick, Ranmali worked for 10 years at LifeArc, where she helped academic scientists develop and commercialise new inventions. These related to a range of technologies from several MRC units, including the Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge. She also managed IP and collaborations relating to antibody and small molecule drug discovery projects, from LifeArc’s Centre for Therapeutics Discovery. She has worked closely with the MRC to deliver IP workshops for applicants to the DPFS and MICA funding schemes.
Ranmali has an MSc in Biochemical Research from Imperial College and a PhD in cell signalling from Cambridge University.
