Acely Garza-Garcia
- Lab: Mycobacterial Metabolism and Antibiotic Research Laboratory
- Job Title: Senior Laboratory Research Scientist
- Email Address:
Acely is a chemical biologist passionate about understanding protein evolution, protein structure-function relationships and bacterial metabolism. She did her BSc in chemistry at the National University of Mexico (UNAM) and a PhD in structural biology at University College London. Her main research aim is the study of poorly-characterised mycobacterial enzymes through a multi-disciplinary approach including bioinformatics, phylogenetics, metabolomics, structural biology and enzymology.
