Agnese Serafini

Biology master’s degree and PhD at “La Sapienza University” in Rome, Italy. She is specialized in genetics, molecular biology and microbial physiology. She developed her skills studying different microorganisms (yeast, algae and bacteria). Since 2008, during her second post doc at the University of Padova (Italy), she became fascinated with Mycobacterium tuberculosis physiology. In 2015 she moved to the Francis Crick Institute to continue studying Mycobacterium tuberculosis physiology using a variety of “omics” approaches.
