Anne Early

As a PhD student in the laboratory of Professor Jeffrey Williams (ICRF Clare Hall), and later as a postdoctoral fellow at the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology at UCL, Anne Early studied developmental gene expression in the simple eukaryote Dictyostelium discoideum. She was awarded a Royal Society University Research Fellowship in 1996. In 2000 she switched fields to join Dr John Diffley’s laboratory, where she has been working ever since, latterly as a Principal Laboratory Research Scientist.
