Beren Aylan

Postdoctoral Research Assistant

Beren joined the Host-Pathogen Interactions Lab in September 2019. She finished her undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology and Genetics in Bilkent University. She  completed her M.Sc. degree focusing on G-protein-coupled receptor activation and receptor trafficking at Bogazici University. During her master’s Beren had the opportunity to get training for FRET and live cell imaging in Max Delbrück Center. Beren is currently investigating the spatiotemporal regulation of Type 7 Secretion System of M. tuberculosis during infection with human macrophages.
