Carlos is a postdoctoral scientist in the Reis e Sousa lab. He completed his PhD in 2016 at The Complutense University of Madrid and The University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Cristina Casals and Judi Allen. Before moving to the Crick, he was a postdoc in Dietmar Zaiss' lab where he was the secretary of the Edinburgh Immunology Group (BSI). Throughout his career, Carlos has been interested in understanding how the function of myeloid cells is fine-tuned by the local micro-environment.
