Celine Bouchoux

Principal Laboratory Research Scientist

Trained as a geneticist, Celine turned into a biochemist during her PhD on the regulation of RNA Polymerase I transcription in France.

In 2005, she started her postdoc in Frank’s lab, where she has been a resident biochemist ever since. She first studied how the essential phosphatase Cdc14 ensures a timely mitotic exit; her work then focused on Eco1, an acetyl transferase required to promote sister chromatid cohesion establishment during S-phase.

In 2015 and in parallel to her research work, she also took on the role of lab manager.
