Daniel joined the Crick PhD programme in 2015 after graduating with a first class honours degree in Biochemistry from Oxford University. His previous research experience includes internships in structural biology at the Diamond Light Source and neuroscience at Princeton University.
Area of interest
His current work uses advanced imaging techniques to study subcellular pharmacokinetics within the context of host-pathogen interactions in tuberculosis. After completing his PhD, Daniel intends to pursue further research at the interface between cell biology and rational drug design.
Outside the lab
Aside from the usual millennial activities, Daniel boxes at the North London Boxing Club and walks in the Shropshire hills.
