Elizabeth Larose Cadieux

Prior to becoming a member of the Van Loo Lab at the Crick, Elizabeth completed a four-year long integrated Bachelor's and Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry at Imperial College London. She joined Prof Yaliraki’s research group for her final year research project where she employed in-house computational tools to resolve the nucleotide-dependent dynamics of actin polymerisation. Since she started her PhD in the Van Loo Lab in late 2016, she went on to build a novel computational tool to study intra-tumour heterogeneity of the cancer methylome and tumour evolution and is now applying these tools on a subset of samples from the lung TRACERx (TRAcking Cancer Evolution through therapy (Rx)) study.
