Giulia has a background in Molecular Biology. She obtained her Master degree in 2018 from the University of Turin. During her studies she became interested in computational approaches to study cancer. Her Master thesis primarily focused on reproducibility of results from model analysis. She later utilised such results to classify cancer metabolic subtypes.
Giulia has now moved to cancer genomic analysis. She joined the Cancer Systems Biology lab in 2019. Her primary interest is to identify the driver events that characterise oesophageal tumour development.
