Kyriaki Anastasiadou

Kyriaki has been working in the Ancient Genomics group since October 2019. She spends most of her time in the dedicated Ancient DNA Cleanroom, where she uses automation and highly sensitive molecular protocols to obtain ancient DNA from humans and animals and facilitate the production of high quality ancient genomes.

Prior to coming to the Crick, Kyriaki obtained a Master's degree in Human molecular genetics from Imperial College, where she also conducted a bioinformatics project investigating recurrent streptococcal infections in infants.
