Manuel Garcia Albornoz

POSTDOCTORAL TRAINING FELLOW

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Francis Crick Institute working as the bioinformatician of the haematopoietic stem cell lab, working in several projects related to haematopoietic cells development and malignancies. My research work has been related to systems biology and bioinformatics tools applied to biological systems. My general research interest relies in the analysis of biological systems with the primary goal to understand the interactions between different components and their regulation. As a bioinformatician I use computational tools for data analysis and in silico simulations aiming to the prediction of the metabolic capability of different biological systems. I have experience in NGS data analysis, bulk RNAseq, single cell RNAseq, variant analysis, Microarray data, ATACseq, proteomics, and cytof data analysis.
