Max Kerr Winter

I grew up in London and studied for my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics at the University of Cambridge. In 2016 I started my PhD in the Theoretical Physics of Biology group, supervised by Dr. Salbreux, where I work on peri-implantation mouse development. I am using a combination of image analysis, computer simulations and the theory of active fluid mechanics to model the nucleation and growth of lumen in mouse embryos, between days 4.5 and 5.5.
