Meritxell Saez Cornellana

I am a mathematician who is fascinated by the complex organisation of living matter.  My main research interests are in mathematical biology, and in particular understanding the design and operating principles of regulatory, signalling and developmental systems. I explore the application of ideas from several areas in mathematics to the understanding of complex biological questions. My research combines dynamical systems, algebraic geometry, statistics and machine learning to the analysis of high-dimensional biological data.
