Mirjam completed her MSc in Cancer, Stem Cells, and Developmental Biology at Utrecht University in 2022. During her Master she joined the group of Associate Professor Maria J. Rodriguez Colman and Professor Prisca Liberali for two separate internships. Here she got interested in applying imaging techniques to study metabolism, which she will continue doing in the lab of Dr Silvia Santos!

Outside the lab Mirjam enjoys singing, playing squash, sewing, and reading.
