I am currently an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Renal Medicine. Clinically I look after patients with a broad range of kidney issues focusing on those with rare and inherited disorders. My research involves using computational approaches to look into rare kidney diseases particularly cystic kidney disease (including autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease). I am keen to understand why patients with these diseases can have very different outcomes by looking at the genetic changes they are born with and those that occur over time. I am based at the Centre for Genetics and Genomics within the UCL Institute for Kidney and Bladder Health but am currently a visiting scientist with Professor Turajlic's group looking at somatic changes in ADPKD.
