Sarah is a bioarchaeologist in the Skoglund Ancient Genomics Laboratory, primarily working on the Ancient Dog and Wolf project. Other projects she is involved with in the lab include ZooMS, radiocarbon dating, and newly emerging ancient genome studies. Sarah received an Outstanding Contribution Award in 2024 for her work developing and reorganising lab-wide archaeological protocols.
Sarah has an MPhil in Archaeological Science from the University of Cambridge, applying ZooMS to artefacts from Iron Age Kazakhstan. Her undergraduate at University College London focused on SEM-EDS analysis of iron metallurgy from an Icelandic Viking context.
