POSTDOCTORAL TRAINING FELLOW
- Email Address:
My journey into science started with a BSc in Biochemistry at University College London. I subsequently completed my DPhil at the Division of Structural Biology at the University of Oxford in 2017 under the supervision of Juha Huiskonen and Thomas Bowden. There I worked on structurally characterising a group of viruses called phleboviruses by a using mixture of single particle cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography. Now I am working in Peter Rosenthal's lab here at the Francis Crick Institute and studying influenza viruses. My main techniques are cryo electron tomgraphy and sub-tomogram averaging which I am using to understand the virus ultrastructure and assembly. Wanna chat science or beach volleyball?
