Tom Frith

Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow

Tom is a Sir Henry Wellcome Fellow in the Briscoe lab. He obtained a BSc in Biology from Lancaster Univeristy, before undertaking his PhD at the University of Sheffield. 

Tom joined Professor Peter Andrews' lab where he used established new strategies to generate the cell types of peripheral nervous system from human pluripotent stem cells.

Tom was awarded a Sir Henry Wellcome postdoctoral fellowship to join the Crick Institute to study how the structure of the genome controls cell fate decisions using the developing spinal cord as a model system.
