Our team brings together a wide range of expertise, including research quality and compliance, ethics, contracting, clinical trials, and sample processing and management.
We are responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Human Tissue Act and the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act, as well as other applicable regulatory standards.

- Ensuring compliance with regulations and external standards for research involving human participants, samples and data.
- Acting as sponsor for research projects requiring Health Research Authority approval.
- Managing the Crick’s Research Ethics Committee and overseeing ethical review processes.
- Providing tailored guidance on study design, set-up and management.
- Supporting the drafting and review of study documentation, regulatory and other applications.
- Advising on the identification and sourcing of human tissues and data.
- Coordinating the collection and management of research samples from clinical sites.
