University partners

The Francis Crick Institute is an innovative partnership between the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, the Wellcome Trust and three of the UK's leading universities - Imperial College London, King's College London and UCL (University College London).

The Crick's three university partners bring specialist knowledge, skills and resources to help the Crick carry out ground-breaking research across a range of scientific disciplines. In particular, university researchers working in the Crick help bring expertise in the physical and clinical sciences. The universities' contribution is also helping to make sure that laboratory discoveries are turned into treatments as quickly as possible.

The Crick's university partners are represented on the Board and the Executive of the Francis Crick Institute and on other committees where appropriate.
