Creating Colour

About art science workshops

Throughout the exhibition, we will be running hands-on workshops that explore the themes of the exhibition and celebrate the links between art and science.

Suitable for all the family, they are a chance to get creative while finding out about Crick research.

Free, booking required.

Our ticketing policy

Booking a ticket does not guarantee entry. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the event to secure your place. If you do not arrive in good time your place may be given to someone else. Latecomers may not be admitted.

Inspired by our current exhibition, Craft & Graft: Making Science Happen, we're running a series of free hands-on workshops for families that celebrate the links between art and science. These workshops are a chance to get creative while finding out about Crick research.

Led by illustrator and mark maker Grace Holliday, 'Creating Colour' invites you to experiment with colour and form and create a decorative piece inspired by scientific processes and cell growth.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.

Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult, and both adults and children are invited to participate in the workshop. All adults and children attending the workshop will need a ticket. Suitable for families with children aged 7+.
