Every day during Discovery Week 2020 there will be one golden letter hidden in an activity. Look out for the letters in the activities and unscramble them to make the golden word. You’ll then be put into a free prize draw where the lucky winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.

How to enter: 

  • Look out for the golden letters in the Discovery Week activities. 
  • Unscramble the letters to make the golden word. Hint: it's an anagram. 
  • Enter the free prize draw after the competition has opened on Friday 29 May. 
  • Submit your answer via this page before the competition closes on midday Monday 1 June. 

Where can I find the golden letters?

Letter 1: Look for the first golden letter in Yan's cupcake video

Letter 2: Head to the tool textures worksheet for the second letter.

Letter 3: Get crafty with scientist Laura and make your own blood-cell inspired keyring or badge to uncover the third letter. 

Letter 4: The fourth letter was in the family quiz. But don't worry if you missed it as a clue to the letter can be found if you answer the question below correctly. 

Letter 5: Tune in to the Discovery Week page at 11am on Friday 29 May to meet our scientist and virus expert Steinar. Keep an eye open for the final letter!
