Introduction to Cell Sorting III: Optimisation and Troubleshooting

  • Event Status: Book now : Event date:
  • Start time: 18:00 End time: - 19:30
  • Event Location: Online
  • Event Type: Training

In these sessions, we will explore cell sorting by flow cytometry. This is an extremely useful technique as it allows us to separate cells of interest for further study. However, the success of a sort depends on many factors including the sample preparation and knowledge of how the sorter works. In this session, we will look at what can go wrong and see the importance of experimental optimisation. Delegates will also discover how to troubleshoot the most common problems and will have the opportunity to ask questions. We will again be using a FACS Aria for this session. These webinars are a collaboration between Derek Davies (The Francis Crick Institute, London, UK), and Kathy Daniels (Whitehead Institute, Cambridge, Massachussets, USA),  and Rui Gardner (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA)
