The actions of protein kinases penetrate every corner of biology, while the clinical impact of studying protein kinases is evident from over 64 kinase approved inhibitors. Despite this progress, there remain major gaps in understanding protein kinase assemblies, substrates and scaffolding functions. Recent technical and methodological advances have opened up new and unexpected opportunities to tackle outstanding kinase-associated questions. This impacts the wider biological community, providing opportunities to address hitherto unresolved fundamental issues. The purpose of this networking event is to disseminate kinase-based advances to a wide audience, in order to stimulate uptake of technologies to solve kinase-associated mechanisms.
