Meet a Scientist

About Meet a Scientist

Meet our scientists, technicians and engineers as they pop into the gallery to share behind-the-scenes insights into how they make science happen.

Meet a Scientist will run weekly throughout our new exhibition, Craft & Graft: Making Science Happen. Keep an eye on our website for more dates and times to be announced soon.

Meet a Scientist sessions are designed for individuals and small groups. If you plan to visit in a group of 7 or more, or are a school group, please let us know by emailing engage@crick.ac.uk.

What's life in the lab really like?

Bring your curiosity and have a chat with some of our friendly scientists. Discover what life in the lab is like and get hands-on with some of the tools they use in their daily work.

This week's scientists are developmental biologist Qiling Xu, who's interested in how humans grow from a single cell during development, and neuroscientist Jasmine Harley, who uses stem cells to study motor neuron disease.

FREE - just turn up at any time. Suitable for individuals and small groups.
