About Meet a Scientist

Meet our scientists, technicians and engineers as they pop into the gallery to share behind-the-scenes insights into how they make science happen. 

Meet a Scientist will run weekly throughout our new exhibition, Craft & Graft: Making Science Happen. Keep an eye on our website for more dates and times to be announced soon.

Meet a Scientist sessions are designed for individuals and small groups. If you plan to visit in a group of 7 or more, or are a school group, please let us know by emailing engage@crick.ac.uk. 

What's life in the lab really like? 

Bring your curiosity and have a chat with some of our friendly scientists. Discover what life in the lab is like and get hands-on with some of the tools they use in their daily work. 

This week’s specialists are database administrator, Jackie Goldman, who builds databases to support work across the building and cell biologist, Imke Ensinck, who uses yeast to learn how cells make decisions.
