Meet a scientist at the Crick

Meet a Scientist [Date change]

About Meet a Scientist

Meet our scientists, technicians and engineers as they pop into the gallery to share behind-the-scenes insights into how they make science happen.

Meet a Scientist will run weekly throughout our new exhibition, Craft & Graft: Making Science Happen. Keep an eye on our website for more dates and times to be announced soon.

Meet a Scientist sessions are designed for individuals and small groups. If you plan to visit in a group of 7 or more, or are a school group, please let us know by emailing engage@crick.ac.uk.

What's life in the lab really like?

Bring your curiosity and have a chat with some of our friendly scientists. Discover what life in the lab is like and get hands-on with some of the tools they use in their daily work.

This week’s specialists are cancer researcher, Miriam Molina, who works on finding new treatments for lung cancer and engineer, Pete Nash, who builds and repairs scientific equipment across the Crick.

This will be the last Meet a Scientist session for Craft and Graft, but Meet a Scientist will be back on when the new exhibition opens.

FREE - just turn up at any time. Suitable for individuals and small groups.

Please note this event has now changed date and time to 7 February, 12:30-14:30 (originally 8 February, 13:00-15:00).
