About our public events

Standard content

Through our vibrant public programme of free events and exhibitions, you can explore what goes on behind the scenes and gain fascinating insights into the Crick’s research.  Some of our regular events series are detailed below:

Meet a Scientist

Would you like to chat to a scientist and get fascinating insights into their research? Come and Meet a Scientist. These free, weekly events are held in the Manby Gallery and bring you face-to-face with two scientists who are keen to give you a glimpse of their work.

Art-science workshops

Celebrating the link between art and science, these regular workshops are an amazing opportunity for families and community groups to get creative and have fun while finding out more about our research.

Science on Screen

Love films? Interested in science? Come along to the Crick’s very own film festival. Watch feature-length dramas with a science twist, enjoy a dink in the bar, complimentary popcorn and a post-screening discussion with a panel of speakers from the Crick and beyond.

Crick Chats

Crick Chats are relaxed and informal discussion events that bring you closer to the exciting discoveries in biomedical science. They are a fantastic chance to hear from our researchers and partner organisations, ask burning questions, enjoy a debate and a drink afterwards.
