A Monster Calls

Join us for our final film screening of the Science on Screen season to mark World Cancer Day.

In this dark fantasy based on an award-winning novel, a boy seeks the help of a tree monster to cope with his mother's terminal illness. Following the film screening, stay with us to explore the themes of the film through small group discussions with special invited guests including scientists from the Crick, alongside a range of other activities.

A complimentary drink will be provided at the end of the screening to enjoy while exploring the activities. The Crick Café will also be open for purchase of other drinks and snacks.

This event has been co-produced with the Crick's Patient Advisory Panel.
