A free event targeted at Black Heritage penultimate and final year undergraduate and master’s students to find out more about pursuing a PhD and a career in science

If you are a penultimate or final year Black Heritage undergraduate or masters student studying in the UK, join us to hear about the lived experiences of students and staff studying and working in STEM. Learn about applying for a PhD, how PhD funding works and what doing a PhD actually means. You’ll also hear about the wide range of careers available to PhD graduates. Our panelists will also discuss the challenges that students with different backgrounds face in applying for and carrying out a PhD. 

There will be ample opportunity to ask questions.

Please note, anyone can sign up for this event but please be aware that it is predominantly aimed at penultimate and final year Black Heritage undergraduate and masters students studying in the UK.
